The successful candidate will work closely with school administrators, staff, and students to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide law enforcement services and support to Valley Center High School
* Maintain a safe and secure learning environment
* Work closely with school administrators, staff, and students to address concerns and issues
* Develop and implement programs to promote student safety and well-being
* Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to ensure effective communication and response to incidents
Requirements:
* Valid California Police Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certification
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Working Conditions:
* Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Must be able to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* P.O.S.T. certification and relevant law enforcement experience preferred
Salary Range:
$23.22 to $30.96 Hourly
