Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Coordinator to join our Hematology, Blood and Marrow Transplant, and Cellular Therapy team at Valley Children's Healthcare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nursing care for patients undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant or CAR T-cell therapy. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing care for patients, donors, and families throughout complex treatment processes.
- Facilitating communication among patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Collaborating with the HBC team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a related field, with a focus on leadership and project management.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, clinical practice, quality, and healthcare systems required.
- Bilingual skills desirable.
Education/Licenses/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN) required.
- HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required.
