What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Tech III - Home Infusion position at Valley Children's Healthcare?
This position with appropriate oversight and supervision of a licensed pharmacist is accountable for participating in medication order processing by performing targeted technical duties related to manufacturing, packaging, record keeping, distribution and clerical duties for the homecare setting. Must maintain competencies in the form of written, oral and/or didactic evaluations to maintain technician Level III status and to comply with regulatory agencies and organizational policies. This position also supports the enteral therapy program within scope of duties. As a Level III technician, incumbent will be eligible to perform advanced duties such as IV Room, TPN and Chemotherapy preparation.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one (1) year related experience required
- Minimum two (2) years related experience preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
- CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician Board preferred
- PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred
