Provides support for research being conducted by the Hospital and associate Physicians, Nurses or other clinical staff. Under the direction of the Research Department, the incumbent performs various clerical duties, assists in data collection and entry and provides input into study design.

The Clinical Research Department at Valley Children’s Hospital is dedicated to advancing knowledge and supporting opportunities for patients to receive the latest benefits and innovations in clinical research treatments close to home. They provide direct support for more than 240 strategic internal and multi-institutional studies per year, providing opportunities for improvement in the health of children throughout the 10-county area. Projects supported range from student scholarly activities to multi-center investigational drug and device trials, being conducted by 27 different departments. The research team promotes high quality research and supports interprofessional collaboration among Investigators. The team can assist researchers with opportunities for research project funding, study design for Investigator-initiated projects, and partnerships with local universities for statistical support. Research team members are detail-oriented, able to multi-task, adept at project management, and are passionate about scientific advancement.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one (1) year related experience preferred
- Microsoft Office skills required
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
- College Degree - 4 year preferred
