What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warrior Day Camp Student Helper position at Valley Christian School?
Position Reports to: Warrior Day Camp Director as well as Room Supervisors
Position Overview:
This position will work in the summer months to care for campers from Kindergarten thru 7th Grade. To oversee daily Warrior Day Camp mission success in respective rooms.
Position Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates spiritual maturity
- Relate with appropriate and respectful voice and actions to all children
- Responsible for safety and welfare of children
- Provides effective and appropriate discipline within WDC guidelines
- Works well with children & youth
- Prompt and reliable attendance record
- Take initiative to lead
- Learn and take direction from Room Leader
- Focus on campers safety and spirituality
- Other position appropriate duties as deemed necessary by the WDC Director or Adult Room Leaders.
