The Administrative Liaison works alongside the K-8 Principal and assigned staff members to support the vision and mission of the school along with items related to the office. Utmost, the Administrative Liaison must consider him/her not simply a business professional but more importantly a missionary on the field to share the gospel to whom God has entrust as a part of the VCS ministry

Description
The 5-8 Administrative Liaison is a key representative of the school and understands the pulse of activities and programs. Role And Responsibilities
- Learn and become familiar with RenWeb to facilitate student/family data management, attendance, or other related functions as assigned
- Assist with scheduling, and other logistical tasks related to the 5-8 athletic program
- Prepare and update student and teacher schedules in RenWeb in conjunction with the K-8 Principal
- Monitor monthly expenses and meet budget parameters associated with classroom and office supply purchases
- Manage and submit quarterly progress reports and report cards in RenWeb to K-8 parents
- Manage and update class rosters, car tag lists, and other rosters as assigned
- Serve as back-up to K-4 and/or 5-8 receptionists
- Schedule appointments and conference calls for Vice-Principals and Principal
- Proof outgoing communications from Administration as requested
- Add school events to Outlook and Tandem calendars
- Arrange a variety of school functions/activities as assigned
- Serve as administrative support/silent witness in cases of student and staff discipline
- Respond to miscellaneous parent inquiries
- Assist with support of Kids Club and after school clubs as needed
- Adhere to Valley Christian policies, procedures/processes, and codes
- Perform other related assigned duties
Qualifications and Skills:
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is a consistent testimony among others

- Faithfully attend and financially support a local church whose beliefs are in agreement with our school’s Mission & Beliefs.
- Must have and maintain a valid level one IVP fingerprint card
- Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must be highly organized and detailed orientated
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be able to multi-task with strong time management skills
- Must be willing to continually grow and embrace challenges with a growth mindset
- Strong supervisory skills and leadership skills
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- A bachelor’s degree in office management or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in school office setting
- Use a computer (visual and keyboarding) for long periods of time
- Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) 50% of the time
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- At time requires stooping, bending, turning, pushing, pulling, reaching and climbing stairs (2-story)
- Use of hands, fingers, arms to reach, grip and maneuver objects
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds (fire/security alarms)
- Work in a noisy and crowded work environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings when needed
- Frequent walking throughout the campus
- Must be able to travel between campuses
