What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainer position at Valley Communities Credit Union?

With our rich history, starting out in 1935, we served the employees of the Mosinee Paper Mill with a tiny office in their punch house. Growing continually over the years, we currently serve over 16,000 members in five different Central Wisconsin communities.
As a trainer, your primary responsibilities are to support all functions of branch operations:
- Serving as a Trainer.
- Successfully train and coach new and existing employee groups to achieve targeted sales, service, and quality goals. Schedules, coordinates and delivers training for employees.
- Ability to design, update, present, and coordinate written training and online material. Utilize a cross functional training approach to ensure successful transfer of knowledge and abilities on various processes, procedures, policies, and applicable State and Federal regulations.
- Collaborates with VP/CLO, AVP of Lending, VP/COO & AVP of Operations to identify solutions and design training procedures and strategies for products and services.
- Work with the Managers to coach and develop individuals who are struggling to learn and apply key skills, knowledge and abilities related to their roles. Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen. Ensure all staff are knowledgeable in all their job duties, and Credit Union services, and delivers accurate information to internal/external members and business partners.
- All other duties as assigned.
We are seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of experience in similar training and development position preferred. Prior banking/credit union experience and knowledge of regulatory compliance required. We are seeking a candidate with strong operational experience in a credit union/bank setting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships and rapport with members and staff.
