Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform Essential Duties as outlined below.
- BA/BS in Human Service Field.
- Previous Behavioral Health Crisis Intervention Experience
- Knowledge of involuntary commitment laws and procedures
- Ability to legally transport clients.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Mandt Certifications.
- Ability to comply with Clients Rights.
- Ability to comply with Valleys and Division departmental safety procedures.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years experience providing Crisis Intervention
- Disaster Response Training
- First Responder Course Completion
- Knowledge of community resources for behavioral health problems including mental illness, substance abuse and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
