Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server Assistant to join our team at Valley Country Club. In this role, you will support our service staff in delivering outstanding dining experiences to our members and guests. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the high standards of service that our club is known for.
Responsibilities
- Assist servers in providing excellent customer service to club members and guests.
- Help set up and clean dining areas before and after service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Assist in serving food and beverage, being able to run drinks and food to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Greeting, Seating, and Assisting guests regularly
- Obtain and learn the menu to assist in order taking
- Support food safety practices by adhering to health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed during busy service periods.
- Assist with events, setting up, breaking down, and servicing.
- Collect feedback from the members and be able to enhance and elevate their service.
- Be a team player with helping hands, willing to jump in and help in any area needs
- Being aware of surrounding and seeing the needs of the servers and guests before they ask
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced staff.
