A driven Powder Coat Painter/Paint Booth/Wash Prep I to facilitate the production of company products and custom orders.
What You’ll Do
Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor/team lead, you will prep and paint daily orders.
What We Need From You
- Coat surfaces utilizing powder paint
- Requires assistance to adjust colors when necessary
- Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions
- Utilize enhanced finishing skills when appropriate
- Ability to operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including sprayers and electrostatic powder coat
- Ability to wash and degrease parts using pressure sprayer
- Monitor and maintain product quality
- Ability to follow spray patterns
- Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Additional duties as needed.
- 0 – 1 years of experience or an associates degree
- Knowledge of metalworking industry, equipment, and processes.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
