What We’re Looking For

A driven Powder Coat Painter/Paint Booth/Wash Prep I to facilitate the production of company products and custom orders.

What You’ll Do

Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor/team lead, you will prep and paint daily orders.

What We Need From You

• Coat surfaces utilizing powder paint
• Requires assistance to adjust colors when necessary
• Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions
• Utilize enhanced finishing skills when appropriate
• Ability to operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including sprayers and electrostatic powder coat
• Ability to wash and degrease parts using pressure sprayer
• Monitor and maintain product quality
• Ability to follow spray patterns
• Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Additional duties as needed.
  
  
  

Education/Experience And Must Haves

• 0 – 1 years of experience or an associates degree
• Knowledge of metalworking industry, equipment, and processes.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
• Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
