SUMMARY:
The SAP BASIS Administrator is responsible for managing and administering all technical aspects of SAP system, ensuring efficient and consistent system performance. Coordinate BASIS and SAP systems activities with SAP RISE practice and outsourced AMS partner resources
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and work on design and implementation of SAP S/4 on SAP RISE
- Provide support of daily operations for SAP BASIS activities, including oversight and accountability for relevant global incident/event/request queues
- Provide oversight and governance for projects, execute project plans, provide project estimates, and landscape recommendations.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and cooperate with various project teams, including production support teams located offshore.
- Implementation of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, FIORI and other SAP systems including third applications.
- Implementation of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, FIORI and other SAP systems including third application in the HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and RISE.
- SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) Security Monitoring using Central log system, automated to initiate the immediate alerts.
- Support and build HANA Security around System Privileges, Object Privileges, Analytic Privileges, Package Privileges, and Application Privileges.
- Responsible for SAP Support to troubleshoot the issues in SAP systems collecting and providing the trace files and diagnosis information to SAP and open SAP support connections.
- Planned and lead the SAP and HANA upgrades through the different landscapes on various versions.
- Setup and support SSO using SAML and SAP Logon tickets. Using different methods like SNC, SAML and certificates (SSL)
- Using SAP Service Marketplace for OSS messages, SAP HEC, Service Requests and to register the Client systems and open the systems for SAP for trouble shooting.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
- 4 years of SAP BASIS work experience
- Completion of a 2 previous SAP S/4 project upgrades and Hands-on, in-depth SAP BASIS knowledge.
- Demonstrated SAP & SAP HANA and RISE and Ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
- Hands on experience working on SAP S/4, BW, Fiori, and Solution Manager.
- Understanding the SAP application architecture, SAP NetWeaver technology (ABAP and Java, alike), instance, work-process nature and roles, ICM, IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Logon Load Balancing, SAP router configuration and setup.
- Deployment approach and strategies for SAP GUI, SAP HANA Studio; Experience with Fiori and other advanced SAP stacks.
- Solid experience of best SAP practices, archiving, system copies, single-sign-on, encryption, SAP SNC.
- Experience integrating and operating 3rd party applications required for change management process, monitoring, troubleshooting.
- Experience installing, monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting SAP applications and SAP HANA Databases.
- Experience following protocols and standards specific to SAP large scale implementation.
- Experience working with SAP support on troubleshooting various issues: understanding the nature of the problem, raising OSS incidents, providing necessary support to SAP analyst to investigate problems.
- Experience working on System refresh, Client refresh and using third party client copy tools like EPI-USE.
- Understanding high-availability, disaster-recovery concepts and SAP technology surrounding the following scenarios.
- Expertise in SAP security integration and controls
- Daily production Support: - Daily monitoring of production systems, performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Pay:
$85,000-$117,000 a year*
*The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
