Valley Ford Truck is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our high-volume wholesale parts warehouse .
Our dealership specializes in Diesel and Medium-Duty Trucks , serving a broad customer base with efficiency and precision.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing warehouse workflows, and ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities :
Warehouse & Inventory Supervision :
- Supervise the daily operations of the parts warehouse in tandem with the parts manager to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels in partnership with the parts manager, ensuring parts availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Implement and enforce Ford OEM parts policies and best practices.
- Monitor and improve parts receiving, stocking, and distribution processes.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of parts to maximize efficiency and minimize losses.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Utilize DMS and inventory management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) for tracking stock levels.
Leadership & Supervision :
Supervise warehouse staff and drivers to maximize productivity and accuracy.Develop performance goals, conduct evaluations, and implement continuous improvement strategies .Foster a safe and team-oriented warehouse environment , ensuring compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies.Wholesale & Logistics Coordination :
Supervise a high-volume wholesale warehouse operation , ensuring timely order fulfillment for external customers.Coordinate shipping, delivery, and logistics , working closely with vendors and freight providers.Oversee driver routes , ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers to enhance service and sales opportunities.Customer Service & Communication :
Collaborate with the Parts and Service Departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient internal part distribution.Address and resolve customer concerns related to parts availability, quality, or delivery.Work closely with the Parts Director and department / dealership leadership to support business growth initiatives.Qualifications & Skills :
3-5 years of experience in a Parts Warehouse Supervisor role, preferably in a Ford or heavy-duty truck dealership .Strong knowledge of Ford parts cataloging, inventory management, and logistics operations .Experience managing a high-volume wholesale operation .Proficiency in DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or equivalent) and warehouse management tools.Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills .Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse operations.Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).Benefits & Compensation :
