To support this mission, we are seeking a Funding Coordinator to assist patients in securing county-based funding for treatment.
Position Overview
The Funding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring eligible patients receive county and state funding for substance use treatment services. This position requires expertise in case management, financial eligibility assessments, and behavioral health documentation.
Ideal candidates have experience as a:
Substance Use Case Manager (rehab, detox, or outpatient)
Behavioral Health Case Manager (hospital or community-based)
Medical or Healthcare Case Manager (caseworker with funding experience)
Key Responsibilities
Secure County & State Funding – Assess patient eligibility for county-funded treatment programs.
Conduct Patient Interviews – Gather income and insurance information from patients or family members.
Extract Clinical Data – Review charts and collect medical details needed for funding applications.
Submit & Manage Funding Requests – Accurately enter information into state and county funding portals.
Ensure Compliance – Maintain records and follow county/state funding regulations.
Collaborate with Teams – Work closely with case managers, clinical staff, and external funding agencies.
Experience:
2 or more years of experience in substance use case management, or healthcare
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
