Building Maintenance Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management and maintenance management, with the ability to oversee various maintenance tasks effectively. This role is essential in ensuring that our building systems operate smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Perform routine inspections of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Fabricate components or parts as required for repairs or improvements.
• Employ tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Manage low voltage systems, ensuring they meet operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks when necessary.
• Lead the maintenance team by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Experience
Candidates should have a proven track record in building maintenance or a related field. Experience in supervising teams and multihousing is highly desirable. Familiarity with HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and facilities management principles is essential. The ability to demonstrate leadership skills while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving will be crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
