Job Title: Emergency Medical Services Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professional to join our team at Valley Health.
About the Role:
- As an EMS professional, you will be responsible for providing safe and high-quality medical transportation up to the advanced life support level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from medical facilities under the direction of the dispatch center and Operations Manager, ensuring timely and efficient care.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfy DOT equivalent physical examination requirements, adhering to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory for this role.
- A DOT Medical Examiner's certificate is also required.
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved is necessary for this position.*
- EMT Paramedic certification for primary state and/or National Registry or both is required for this role.
- VA EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operators Certificate) or approved equivalent must be obtained within 60 days.
