We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. Duties
- Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to the client's dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Support clients with mobility challenges, ensuring their safety during movement within the home.
- Implement care plans designed for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.
- Document care provided and any observations regarding the client's condition or behavior.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient care or caregiving roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and direct support strategies for individuals with disabilities.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- A caring attitude and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to cook healthy meals that accommodate specific dietary requirements is beneficial.
