What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/Front Desk/ Credentialling Coordinator position at Valley Home Health?
There is no direct patient care in this position.
Primarily responsible for clinician credentialing and HR. Willing to train for this position.
This position is under the direction of the Agency Administrator, Director of Patient Care Service and Director of Office Operations within an administrative capacity. Duties include: assisting with ongoing agency regulation and compliance monitoring, clinician scheduling, referral and intake coordination, data input, authorizations, chart review, medical records, answering phones, pre-billing chart auditing and other tasks as needed.
One year work experience as an medical assistant preferred.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
Demonstrates interpersonal skills, documentation skills, strong and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated Typing speed >45 WPM
Experience working with Microsoft office suite -Excel a must
Demonstrates organizational and time management skills
Excellent Customer Service
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must be reliable!

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
