Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking a talented and dynamic PRN Activity Therapist (Music, Art, & Recreation) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!
The PRN Activity Therapist is a key member of the Valley Behavioral Health activity therapy team. The PRN Activity Therapist plans activities to meet the specific needs of the patient population.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Music, or Recreation Therapy, or related therapeutic discipline; or a Master’s degree in Art Therapy or Occupational Therapy
- One (1) year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
- Certification or licensure by state and/or national governing body in of the following areas: Art, Recreation, or Music Therapy, or the ability to obtain licensure or certification within the first 6 months of employment.
- Successful completion of CPR Certification prior to hire
- May be required to work overtime and flexible hours
- Successful completion of CPR Certification prior to hire
