Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking an Registered Nurse for our Intake department to work PRN Evenings. We are looking for an RN with a background in Behavioral Health to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!
The Intake Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN will be responsible for assessing the medical and behavioral needs of the patient during the admission process. The Intake RN - PRN will be responsible for responding to referrals’ and other requests for services and information. The Intake Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Qualifications
- Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
- Thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Intake/Admissions procedures preferred.
- Current/Prior Experience working within Intake/Admissions department preferred.
- Current CPR card.
