Responsibilities and requirements:· Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. · Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests. · Work with a variety of customers while always respecting their privacy and working at the highest level of professionalism. · Answer guest inquiries regarding the city and local events/attractions. · Maintain cleanliness of bar, bar unit, tables along with seating areas. · Stock ice, glassware, and supplies along with anticipating replenishment needs. · Wash any dishes and serving utensils as needed. · Complete opening/closing duties per company standards. · Fill out requisition on all necessary supplies along with transporting them from storeroom to bar set-up area as required. · Secure all alcohol beverages, cabinets, and storage areas. · Forecast meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen. · Report any accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. · Comply with standards/regulations to encourage a safe and efficient hotel operation. · Maintain a high standard of professional appearance/grooming to include wearing the proper uniform and name tag. · Participate in day-to-day operations and establish a pleasant relationship with staff. · Attend/Participate in all meetings and training required by management. · Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements· High school diploma or GED required. · Must be 21 years old. · Previous customer service and Marriott experience preferred. · Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred. · Detail oriented with strong verbal/written communication skills required. · Able to work well in stressful situations and maintain composure under pressure. · Must pass a background check and drug screen. Physical requirements· Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. · Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 10-25 lbs.
