THE ROLE

THE ROLE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
 Check the server and house person’s BEOs to ensure all information is accurate.
 Set rooms, buffets, and tables according to BEO specifications and Supervisor instructions. Check electrical hook-ups.
for proper working order, tape down all exposed cords for equipment in use.
 Perform all guest contact activities or guest requests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to excellence.
 Ensure that all storerooms are clean, organized, and secured. Assist in equipment inventory as scheduled. Attend staff set-up and technical training on a regular basis.
 Organize Banquet Hall to ensure a productive, safe, and energy-conserving work environment. Ensure proper maintenance (cleaning and repair) of all equipment.
 Ensure that all unused rooms are set to the department’s standards.
 Constantly communicate all concerns to the Banquet Manager
 Assist the servers during service by responding to their requests; notify the supervisor immediately of any difficulties.
 Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow associates in all departments.
 Enforce all safety and sanitation procedures including safety guidelines and OSHA requirements
