Responsibilities
- Conducts evening and weekend substance abuse education and awareness group sessions
- Ability to handle, professionally, stressful situations and interact with others.
- Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
- Must have current ADT, CAC-AD, CSC-AD status as an addiction counselor approval through the Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland.
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong compassionate outlook, with an upbeat and positive personality
- Experience working with substance abuse desired
