What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydrovac Operator position at Valley Hydro-Excavation, LLC?
Valley Hydro-Excavation, LLC is currently seeking a Hydrovac Operator to join our team in Campbellsport, WI. We are looking to hire someone who has a strong work ethic and has the ability to work with others. Day to day operations consist of traveling to job sites around Wisconsin and Upper Michigan to hydrovac holes and trenches for our customers. Safe excavation and the safety of our employees is a top priority.
Job Description:
- Perform duties related to the operation of hydrovac equipment.
- Operate and maintain all types of equipment including but not limited to: Hydrovac Truck, Excavator, Drilling Machine, Skid Loader, ForkLift, Dump Truck, Pickup Trucks, and Trailers.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Work with a team to safely complete tasks as assigned.
- Follow safety guidelines and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in hydrovac preferred but not required.
- Drivers License
- Experience with a variety of hydraulic equipment preferred but not required.
- Being mechanically inclined is helpful.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- We are willing to train the right person.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
