What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at Valley Implement?
Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Director to lead our marketing initiatives and brand promotion across all four Valley Implement locations. This role will involve developing and executing marketing strategies, managing e-commerce platforms, and collaborating with the corporate sales team to drive promotions and sales.
Responsibilities
1. Brand Promotions & Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute store-specific marketing strategies in collaboration with sales and general managers at each location.
- Attend weekly sales meetings to stay informed on products requiring promotion.
- Participate in the weekly out-of-season Zoom meetings for parts promotions with parts managers.
2. E-Commerce & Digital Marketing:
- Work with Big Climb Partners to manage and optimize the e-commerce marketing platform.
- Upload used equipment listings to key platforms, including:
- Tractor House
- KSL
- Craigslist
- Facebook Marketplace
- Upload select new equipment listings for specific brands to the same platforms.
Note: Responsibilities include taking 8-10 photos/videos of each unit, showcasing them in front of each building.
3. Special Marketing Initiatives:
- Plan, promote, and manage customer clinics and special marketing events to drive engagement and sales.
- Work with manufacturers on optimizing co-op marketing funds and promotions for brands such as New Holland, Case IH, Zimmatic, Kioti, JCB, Bobcat, Great Plains, and select trailer brands.
4. Marketing Planning:
- Develop a comprehensive annual marketing plan for parts, sales, and service, tailored to each calendar year.
5. Travel & Location Management:
- Weekly travel required between Preston, Logan, and Tremonton locations, with occasional trips to Grace.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of various marketing channels and digital platforms.
- Experience with e-commerce and online marketing.
- Proficiency in photography and video content creation.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales and management teams across multiple locations.
Additional Information:
- This is a part-time to full-time position (30-40 hours per week).
- Occasional travel between Valley Implement locations is required.
- The candidate will report directly to Fred Titensor and work closely with other managers across locations.
- Wage is DOE
