We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service times, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding order status and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Utilize POS systems effectively to track orders and assist with any necessary adjustments.
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to inquiries or requests for assistance.
- Support banquet operations as needed, ensuring all food service requirements are met for events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes is a plus.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and cooperation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary.
