As a Housekeeping / Laundry Aide, you are responsible for providing a sanitary, comfortable, and safe environment for the residents in the facility and providing clean linens in a sanitary and efficient manner. You are responsible to maintain good housekeeping practices, practice good infection control, and help prevent the development and spread of infections.
General Duties and Responsibilities Include : Perform routine housekeeping services, which includes the cleaning of furniture, equipment, floors, walls, windows, toilets, mirrors, sinks, beds, etc.; perform project cleaning as requested, which includes wheelchairs and stripping and waxing floors; Provide routine laundry services, which includes separating, weighing, washing, drying, folding, and handling soiled linen.
