What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Bus Cleaner position at Valley Metro?
Summary: The Part Time Cleaner is responsible for servicing buses; this includes the cleaning of the interior and exterior areas of buses and service vehicles.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of operations of cleaning equipment, proper use and storage of cleaning solvents, per MSDS, proper cleaning techniques for exposure to the public
- Valid Virginia driver’s license
- Bus driving experience, preferred
- Schedule: 6:00 PM-11:00 PM Monday – Friday
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and fueling of the Valley Metro buses and Trolleys
- Fare box handling
- Checking fluids and tires
- Parking buses
- Cleaning of the shop area at times.
Excellent Part-time position for self-motivated hard worker.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.35 per hour
