Description
Job Responsibilities:
Perform as a member of the Production Team. This person will work hourly functions and be trained in, wet process evaporator department and input items into the Data Management System.
Job Duties:
- Follow and adhere to procedures and recipes to ensure quality product is produced.
- Ensure all products produced are within accepted specifications.
- Operate equipment safely and effectively (Start, run and shutdown the Evaporator and cream pasteurizer)
- Operate the evaporator and all associated equipment while producing minimal out of specification product.
- Run all required quality checks.
- Complete all required logs.
- CIP the evaporator and all associated equipment
- CIP all equipment associated with evaporator performance.
- Perform all chemical tests.
- Complete and store all required documents.
- Promote and follow all plant and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Ensure all GMP, HACCP, safety and all plant, documentation and regulatory policies and procedures are complied with in the evaporator area.
- Achieve all production goals (KPI's)
- Report and document all reasons targets are not met.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required. Prior food manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficient in basic math and reading comprehension. Effectively communicate across team environment.
Must hold a State Pasteurizers license or obtain one within 90 days of filling the position.
