Responsibilities
- General knowledge of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
- Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment and answering questions.
- Ensuring all mammography call backs and follow ups are scheduled to return in a timely manner with all supporting documentation in order.
- Support the mammography technician ensuring operation of mammography equipment by scheduling preventive maintenance; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories.
- Keeps mammography supplies and patient drapes ready by keeping inventory of stock; placing orders; collecting and processing laundry.
- Documents patient mammogram services and key details regarding next steps in the patients account.
Qualifications:
- 1 - year mammo coordinator experience
- Radiology scheduling
- Spanish ( highly preferred)
- BLS certification, and great communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
