Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide basic medical care such as monitoring vital signs and assisting with catheter care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Support patients in outpatient settings by helping them understand their treatment plans and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver critical care as needed.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic for documentation and patient management.
Requirements
- Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant certification.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and patient care practices.
- Experience in home care or outpatient settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and electronic health record systems (Cerner, Epic) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
