As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming registration process. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for everyone who enters our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange appointments for clients or others with therapists, directors, or others via face-to-face.
- Politely answer telephone, screen calls as appropriate, and route calls to the proper staff member.
- Accurately enter in client information into EHR system daily.
- Greet clients, visitors, and vendors professionally.
- Verify client demographics, insurance eligibility, and income information at check-in.
- Initiates and maintains client assignments in EHR.
- Communicates in an effective and timely manner with internal and external customers via verbal, written and electronic means.
Requirements:
- High school diploma of GED required
- Bilingual preferred
- Previous office experience preferred
- Knowledge of community service preferred
- Must be computer literate
