Valley of the Moon Club is seeking a new member for it's Golf Course Maintenance Team at this beloved community golf course in Santa Rosa, Ca.
The Golf Course Maintenance team performs work supporting golf course maintenance and construction. The team will work directly with the Golf Course Superintendent in the maintenance and beautification of golf course grounds and entry areas.
.Responsibilities:
- Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course greens and other features
- Operates edgers and trimmers
- Grades and prepares a soil plant bed, lays sod, plants, vegetative material, and pulls weeds in bed
- Changes cups and tee markers
- Maintains Ball washers, water hazards, and bunkers
- Operates light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris
- Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers
- Assists in construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing soil and planting
Job Requirements for Course Workers/Groundskeepers
- 1 year experience in golf course maintenance preferred but not required
- Able to understand and follow detailed written and oral instruction
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Work early morning shifts.
- Join the union within 30 days of hire.

Hourly Wage: $22.59 per hour (with $1.00 increase after 90 days probationary period)
Union Position
- Annual Wage increase of $1.50 per union agreement (January 1)
- $1.30 per hour worked contribution to the union Labor Trust Fund for Retirement
