Seasonal Service & Warehouse Assistant – Charleroi and Belle Vernon, PA
A PERFECT job for a college student home for the summer, the role of a Valley Pool & Spa Service Assistant is an easy Seasonal position that works with our full-time service techs and warehouse teams. Learn the job in under 1 day, and have an easy earning position for the Spring and Summer months. The perfect role for students, or anyone that wants to make easy extra spring/summer income.
Accompany one of our Service Technicians on customer job-sites to assist with pool services (like pool openings), accompany the spa delivery supervisor on hot tub/pool deliveries and work in our Charleroi, PA and Belle Vernon, PA distribution center (facilities are 5 minutes apart from each other). Unload trucks, pick and prepare merchandise for deliveries, and load trucks. You may also accompany the Warehouse-to-Store Transfer Driver to help with large deliveries to the retail locations.
What we are looking for in you:
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, walk, and lift upwards of 50-pound items.
- Ability to move heavier items with the proper equipment
- Ability to work inside and outside
- Excellent vision with or without corrective lenses and close vision for reading picking tickets and cartons.
- Able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Work on your feet most of the day
- High School education or equivalent
WORK SCHEDULE:
- WEEKDAY WORK SCHEDULE - WEEKENDS OFF: Monday through Friday starting between 7am-8am and working a 8 to 10-hour Day shift (Overtime for hours worked over 40 hours per week)
COMPENSATION:
· $15-$16 per hour time-and-a-half pay ($22.50-$24) for hours worked over 40 in a week
