Caring, Early Childhood Preschool Teacher / Assistant

Hello! We are looking to add on to our staff by seeking to hire an energetic, compassionate, hard-working, responsible, and dependable individual for full-time teaching employment at Valley Preschool, a small, hands-on learning community located in the heart of Stillwater, MN. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with others. The ideal candidate seeks to foster meaningful relationships with students; is creative; caring; pays close attention to details and seeks to inspire preschool-aged children (33 months-5 yrs.) through hands-on learning and play. The candidate chosen for this position must meet the following criteria: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -Maintain a safe and loving classroom environment at all times, no exceptions -Interact proactively and positively with children to develop bonds and create trust at all times, no exceptions -Bring a positive attitude each and every day to help create and maintain a loving and nurturing learning environment at all times, no exceptions -Meet the daily physical and emotional needs of the children within the class at all times, no exceptions -Using school resources, help to create fun and developmentally-appropriate lessons for each of the classes -Help to prepare for lessons in advance, following the school's policies -Be ready prior to the start of the school day; each day, no exceptions -Follow the school's guidelines and policies at all times, no exceptions -Maintain open communication with staff at all times, no exceptions -Display a positive attitude at all times, no exceptions -Work well with and alongside a team of friendly and caring individuals at all times, no exceptions The hired candidate will report directly to the to school's director.
