At VRL we make disciples who make disciple-makers for Jesus. As VRL staff you are a critical part of that process. Your job will be tied to the values that help us to become and make disciples of Jesus as we :
- ABIDE IN CHRIST - Have a regular and growing / deepening relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, His Word, etc. Lead your team not only in the work, but also in their walk with Christ.
- CREATE A RELATIONAL CULTURE - Honor relationships and deal with issues the way Jesus modeled - with love for one another. Engage in relationships with those on staff and in the congregation.
- CONNECT THE UNCONNECTED - Participate in a small group during the week and help others to enter environments for discipleship.
- EQUIP VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE - Spend time in prayer for God to provide workers for the ministries at VRL. As a leader, find ways to involve, recruit, and train volunteers for the works of ministry.
- SHARE CHRIST WITH OTHERS - In word and deed, inside and outside of the church walls, introduce people to Jesus. Pray and look for opportunities in your sphere of relationships to testify about Jesus.
- STRIVE TO MAKE IT BETTER - Do your best work for the Lord while being dependent on Him. Lovingly give feedback to others while humbly accepting feedback from others.
