At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our team in the Emergency Department.
The primary responsibility of the HUC is:
- Coordinates health unit, equipment, and technical procedures.
- Communicates with patients, team members, and management in an accurate, timely manner.
- Applies critical thinking skills and considers alternatives.
- Develops and maintains human care relationships.
- Manages self and resources effectively.
- Applies knowledge integration skills for the patient populations/customers served within unit of hire.
An ideal Candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Current CMA, EMT, or LNA licensure in the State of NH
- Current BLS
