Sign On Bonus: $500. $250 at 3 months of employment, $250 at 6 months of employment.
Must be able to attend group home curriculum training at SCCMHA.
Seeking creative caring people at least 18 years of age to serve individuals with physical/emotional/intellectual disabilities in a group home setting. We provide 24-hour care in first, second and third shifts, 7 days a week. Staff provide care to assist individuals in personal hygiene and training in daily living skills that moves them toward independence.
Must be able to protect the rights of individuals served, guard their privacy and always be treated with dignity and respect. We certify you to be group home trained within 90 days, then provide ongoing trainings through monthly staff meetings.
You are responsible for transportation in a company van to medical appointments, shopping and entertainment outings that foster individual relationships within the community.
You will be required to document daily observations, cook, clean and maintain a homelike environment. This is a rare opportunity for compassionate people to experience a job that is so personally rewarding.'
