JOB DESCRIPTION
Role
The inside sales role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, generating leads, and supporting the sales process in quoting. They act as a liaison between account executives and various internal departments such as engineering and quoting.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
Reaching out through cold calling and emails to prospects to introduce the company's manufacturing services
Qualifying leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize prospects with the highest potential for conversion.
Proactively utilize tools to find and seek out new clients.
Working closely with the account executive team to progress clients through the VSE MEDDPPIC sales process.
Develop competitive, yet profitable cost models.
Prepare customized sales proposals tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each client.
Analyzing requests for quotes (RFQs) to ensure all necessary information is gathered from the customer.
Ensuring all quotes comply with company policies and procedures.
In coordination with the account executive team, proactively engage with clients to up-sell or cross-sell additional products or services to meet their evolving needs and maximize revenue opportunities.
Contributing to the development of new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Drive retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineering and account executives, to align sales efforts with organizational objectives.
Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, opportunities, and sales forecasts and closed orders using CRM software.
Maintains a cadence of communication with prospective clients to increase touch points and drive to warm lead handoffs.
Updating and maintaining accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates a proactive mindset, consistently taking initiative to anticipate and address challenges before they arise.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build rapport and establish trust with prospects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary : $24 - $30
