Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our sign manufacturing projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience working in the manufacturing or sign industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, design teams, production staff, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Schedule and manage production timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Provide regular updates on project status and any changes to the scope or timeline.
- Resource Management:
- Oversee and manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure all signs meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Oversee the inspection process for completed projects and conduct final quality checks before delivery/installation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in manufacturing and installation.
- Budget Management:
- Develop project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within financial parameters.
- Track project costs and make adjustments to avoid overspending.
- Handle invoicing and payments with clients.
- Problem Solving & Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks or issues that could affect the project’s success and proactively address them.
- Resolve any on-site challenges during production or installation efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the manufacturing or sign industry.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience with budget management and resource planning.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work under pressure.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with sign manufacturing processes, materials, and design software (e.g., Affinity Designer, Adobe Illustrator, Onyx Thrive, etc.).
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Time Hero, Teams, Asana, etc.).
- Education:
- High School Diploma, and an Associates degree in business or related field preferred.
- PMP certification (preferred but not required).
