Energy Storage System Design Expertise
At Valley Solar LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solar PV and Energy Storage Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems for our clients. Your expertise in energy modeling, battery energy storage system design, electrical design, and risk assessment will enable us to deliver high-quality designs that meet technical and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics while ensuring compatibility with inverters, batteries, and other system components.
* Perform detailed system analyses, including energy yield simulations, shading analysis, and storage system optimization.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* NABCEP PV Design Specialist or NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in designing solar PV and battery energy storage systems.
