Lifepoint Health is recruiting an adult Psychiatrist for Valley Springs Behavioral Hospital, a new 150 bed facility in partnership with Baystate Health. The incoming Psychiatrist will assist the Medical Director in patient management and supervising Nurse Practitioners. This position is full time and includes a competitive salary and generous benefits. The incoming physician must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
Holyoke is in the suburbs of Springfield and about 2 hours from Boston and 3 hours from New York. This riverside community offers an abundance of outdoor activities and affordable housing options. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school doctoral program required; completed residency in Psychiatry, board certification preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in hospital based psychiatric practice or outpatient psychiatric practice preferred
License: Current unencumbered medical doctor licensure in the state applicable to the facility
Additional requirements: Successful credentialing with facility.
