What you bring to SBHG:
- . Master's degree in family/child counseling, development or psychology, social services or professional counseling or related social science field.
- Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, children, adolescents and/or adults, depending on setting preferred.
- T BBS licensed MFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD or PhD
- 2 years-post licensure experience with ability to provide Clinical Supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students in Behavioral Services or Psychology related fields, preferred
- Valid CA Driver's License
- Meets agency driver eligibility criteria
- BLS CPR/First Aid
- Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting, preferred.
How you will make a difference:
This position has primary responsibility for directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. S/he acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. This position participates in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Clinical Supervisor represents the agency to county agencies and the community. S/he meets with clients, provides direct care and treatment, and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for facility management. This position has the responsibility of and provides direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff, insuring services are in accordance to BBS standards and signs-off on BBS hours.

Valley Star Community Services One Stop TAY Center provides counseling and an array of supportive mental health, substance abuse, employment and educational services.
Services are provided in the office, in-home or in community locations.
Amenities like showers, laundry, phone and internet services available on site.
Center helps young adults ages 16-25 focus on their goals through a variety of services:
Individual and family counseling
Group Counseling
Psychiatric care
Medication management
Crisis intervention services
Intense case management
Housing and vocational support
