Job Title: Picker – Recycling Yard (Shredder & Downstream Operation)

Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and pick materials from conveyors, specifically separating metals and removing contaminants and non-recyclable materials.
- Ensure consistent flow and quality of recyclable materials entering shredder and downstream equipment.
- Identify and report equipment or material issues promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
- Assist with general yard maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in recycling, manufacturing, or material handling preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely work in an outdoor industrial environment in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with recycling yard operations or experience working around shredding and sorting machinery.
- Forklift or equipment operating experience a plus but not necessary.
Hiring Timeline:

Must pass Drug Test & Background Check,
