We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes and ensure the efficient flow of goods within our organization. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across all locations, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast demand and optimize stock levels based on sales trends.
- Utilize inventory management systems, including AS400, to track product movement and manage stock efficiently.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Train and supervise staff on best practices for inventory management and data collection.
- Oversee the operation of forklifts and other equipment used in the handling of inventory.
- Develop strategies for effective pricing of products based on market analysis and inventory turnover rates.
Experience
- Proven experience in inventory management or retail management is required.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
- Experience with data collection methods and analytics tools is preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems.
- Previous experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
