Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be the face of ACE Hardware, providing excellent customer service and expert advice to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with their inquiries, recommending products, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide expert knowledge on our products and services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of merchandise
- Support team members and contribute to a positive store environment
- Uphold ACE Hardware’s values and commitment to exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge of home improvement products and tools are a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
