Entry Level Technician

Valley Techlogic, Inc is looking to hire an Entry Level Technician to assist our clients in their support request needs. Valley Techlogic has been assisting businesses in the Central Valley with their technology needs since 2004. We are a full-service technology provider and most of our clients entrust us with the entirety of their technological systems. We are a Windows focused organization and this technician will work almost exclusively with Windows based devices.

Job Benefits:

Salary range for this position starts at $18 an hour depending on experience. After 90 Day Probationary Period benefits include Healthcare, Vision, Dental and 401K.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a an entry level technician with the drive to grow a career in IT, you will assist our senior staff in their tasks and provide direct support to clients.

There is a ninety (90) day probationary period where you will be trained onsite after which remote work may be possible. While our clients are located all over the Central Valley, we are looking for someone located in Merced to be able to specifically assist our clientele located there expeditiously.

We are looking for a motivated technician who will take a proactive approach to their work, as a technician you should be able to troubleshoot tickets as they come in or assist senior staff in their troubleshooting efforts. You will also be required to provide remote support to clients over the phone and assist them in troubleshooting their issue remotely. Onsite support at client locations will also be required as needed.

Past experience working with a managed or technology service providers is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Provide Help Desk Support to Clients

· Assist Senior Staff with their Tickets/Tasks

· Provide Onsite Support to Clients as Needed

· Ability to Work Independently on A Range of Technical Issues

· Manage & Prioritize Help Desk Issues & Requests in a Timely Manner

· Focus on Issue Resolution, User Satisfaction, and Escalate Appropriately as Needed

· Ability to Self-Manage & Work Independently

· Heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs. May be Required

Skills, Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Educational Experience in a Technology Focused Vocation A Plus but Not Required

· Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills

· Pluses Would Include Experience with the Connectwise Suite of Products (Connectwise Automate Etc.), Windows Devices, or in any time spent in an IT role.
