What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Director position at Valley Terrace Assisted Living?
Valley Terrace is looking for a dynamic and progressive individual to plan, coordinate and implement the recreational activities program for our assisted living community.
The ideal candidate has experience with developing and managing a leisure activities program for a diverse elderly population, including individuals with memory loss. In addition to all other basic skills that are required to work and serve in an elder care facility, we are especially looking for someone that appreciates what seniors have to offer - love and wisdom!
The position involves coordination of our Activities Program which includes wellness, exercise, spiritual, intellectual and entertainment activities.
This is a salaried full time leadership position. Occasional extra time is required for special events.
