What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Valley Tire Company - TRUX TEX?
Valley Tire Co. is a Top 50 Commercial Tire company within the United States and is currently operating in four states. We have been servicing our communities with pride since 1979. We are currently looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks on a full-time basis at our location in Jackson Center, PA.
Duties of the Administrative Assistant may include:
-providing support to our managers and employees
-interacting with customers, in-person and over the phone
-assisting in daily office needs, including data entry
-handling tasks associated with accounts payable and receivable
-answering phones and directing accordingly
-assist with filing and organization
Qualifications
-strong background in the use of Microsoft Office and related programs
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- previous experience selling tires, or willingness to learn (training provided)
-experience with Point of Sales systems
- valid PA driver's license
