Title : Allison Parts Wash Tech
Department : Allison Department
Reports to : Allison Supervisor
Working Hours : 6 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday, 1 / 2-hour lunch
Job Summary / Objective of Job
This is an entry-level position washing internal parts in Allison transmission, in this role you will need to pay close attention to detail on parts coming out of the wash making sure they are clean, wiping them down and stacking them accordingly on a production cart. You may also be required to help in other areas of the Allison Disassembly Area as needed. Those other areas are listed below.
Summary of Essential Job Functions :
- Disassemble Allison Transmissions.
- Case wash.
- Operate sand and media blaster.
- Unload machine and move material from area to area.
- Ensure quality and process flow.
- Hand tools, and pneumatic tools.
- Able to identify units according to work orders
- Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
