Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Obtain and record accurate client and patient information in the practice management system
- Assist with client check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and handling invoices
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
- Provide support to veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a veterinary setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of veterinary practice management software
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
